Based strictly on her accomplishments as a dancer, Cheryl Burke would merit a much higher score in this category, but taking into consideration her growing status as a recognizable celebrity, her success quotient stands to increase if she decides to parlay her talents and fame factor into more high-profile pursuits. Besides having won two Dancing with the Stars titles in addition to the U.K. Championships, the World Cup Professional Rising Star Latin and Ohio Star Ball Rising Star Latin Championships, she's also earned two Prime Time Emmy nominations as a choreographer. In 2007, she picked up the Role Model Award at the Annual Filipino/American Library Gala, while in 2008 she was honored with an Asian Excellence Award.
She's made a number of TV guest appearances on shows such as 20/20, The View and The Tyra Banks Show, and got to do a bit of acting on a 2006 episode of The Suite Life of Zack and Cody. Perhaps her most personally gratifying achievement was the opening of the first Cheryl Burke Dance studio in April 2008. She’s got an impressive resume so far, but we think we'll be seeing more of Cheryl Burke taking on diverse projects in time.
